Two-factor authentication and notifications
Here's how we keep your account and property access secure.
Two-factor authenticationEvery change to user management requires a second layer of verification beyond your password. This applies to all user modifications, so only authorized people can adjust access. |
Admin notificationsWe notify every Admin account when someone modifies user settings or property access. That keeps your whole team aware of changes, and lets you act fast if something looks off. |
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to common questions about user management.
What is the Partner Portal User Management tool?
It's a self-service feature in Partner Portal that lets you manage user roles and access rights for your property.
Can you link a new username to your current property?
Not directly in Partner Portal. Contact Agoda Accommodation Support instead, and be ready to provide: your name and role at the property, an official letter from the property's owner or management company acknowledging the new username, the new username's email address, whether subscription notifications should move to the new username, and (if your property uses ePass) whether the new username should have Finance tab access.
What does each role mean, and what access does it allow?
Each role comes with its own set of permissions. Admin gets full access to your property's extranet, Content Only manages content, and Reservations Only manages reservations. Several finance roles are also available, each built for a specific finance task.
How do I remove specific roles for a user?
Open the edit window for that user and check or uncheck their roles from the list.
What do the "Trash" and "Revoke All Access" buttons do?
The trash icon revokes a user's access to a single property. "Revoke All Access" revokes a user's access to every property in Partner Portal. Use it with caution.
Who can assign roles to users in Partner Portal?
Corrected — flagged for your reviewAny user can assign, edit, or remove roles for other users, as long as the role they're assigning is equal to or lower than their own. Admins sit at the top and are the only role that can assign every role type.
How does a new user log in to their account for the first time?
Corrected — flagged for your reviewThey'll go to Partner Portal, enter their email and password, and click Sign In. We'll send a one-time passcode or a secure link to their registered email to complete login.
Who gets verified by two-factor authentication?
Only the person making the change to user roles or access needs to complete 2FA. This confirms that changes are intentional and made by an authorized person.
What will the notifications tell me?
Admins are notified of every modification to user roles and access rights, big or small, so you always know what's changed.
