How do I collect payment via Telex Transfer?
Telex Transfer, also called bank transfer, pays out directly to your registered bank account instead of a virtual card. Here's how to set it up, settle payments, and troubleshoot if a payout doesn't arrive.
| • Payout ready 30 days after departure | • 150-day window to collect earnings |
| • Funds arrive in 3–5 business days | • Managed in Partner Portal > Finance |
What is Telex Transfer?
Telex Transfer, also called bank transfer, pays out directly to your registered bank account instead of a virtual card. It's managed through the Finance tab in Partner Portal. Note that this payment method isn't available in every country or currency.
Setting up your bank account
If you haven't added a bank account yet, do this first. Payouts by bank transfer become available to charge 30 days after a booking's departure date, and you have 150 days from that date to claim it. If you'd rather get paid sooner, ask us about UPC or UPC on ePass instead.
Add an account
- Sign in to Partner Portal. If you manage more than one property, select it under Listings.
- Go to Finance > My Payment Accounts.
- Select Add account.
- Enter your bank details in English. Special characters aren't accepted. If your bank name includes "&," spell out "and" instead.
- Upload your supporting documents (see below), then select Submit.
What you'll need
- Bank location (country where your bank is based)
- Account holder or beneficiary name and phone number
- Bank account name and number
- Bank name, branch name, and SWIFT code
- Account type (savings accounts only)
- Currency
- Bank address (the branch where the account is held)
Supporting documents
- Proof of account ownership showing the account name and number: a bank passbook, unlocked bank statement, official bank letter, account opening certificate, or a canceled check
- For personal accounts only: a government-issued ID matching the account holder's name, with bank details clearly shown
Assign the account to your property
Your first approved account is assigned automatically. To change it or assign it to more properties:
- Go to Finance > My Payment Accounts.
- Select the three dots next to the property or account, then choose Assign new account or Assign to all properties.
- Confirm your selection.
If your account is rejected
We'll email you the specific reason. Common causes include invalid characters, missing documents, a bank name that doesn't match your documents, or an incorrect account number. Go to Finance > My Payment Accounts, select the three dots next to the account, choose Edit details, update your information, and resubmit.
Settling a payout
- Go to Finance > Payouts. You'll see a Bookings with available earnings section once a payout is ready.
- All eligible bookings are selected by default. Deselect any you don't want included.
- Review the Adjustments section (see below).
- Select Get Payout to view your payout summary. You can only submit if the net value is positive. If your total is negative, wait for more bookings to become eligible.
- Confirm the details, then select Confirm.
- Your payout arrives in your bank account within 3 to 5 business days.
Adjustments
Sometimes we make a manual adjustment to correct your payout, for reasons like:
- A charge for rejecting a confirmed booking
- An incorrect tax rate on a booking
- A change to a booking's cancellation policy
- An outstanding balance or overcharge
Troubleshooting a missing payment
- Check your account status at Finance > My Payment Accounts.
- Pending — make sure you've submitted all required documents.
- Rejected — review and update your details (see above).
- Approved — check with your bank first, then continue below.
- Confirm the payout date has passed. Find it under the Value Date column on Finance > Past Payouts.
- Remember that payouts must be confirmed manually on Finance > Payouts. They don't settle automatically.
- If it's still missing after the Value Date, contact us for help.
